The University of Granada (UGR) participates in the international project "raiSe libyAn Higher education heAlth sector for the benefit of local society" (SAHA), financed by the Erasmus+ programme through the KA2 action "Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practice", together with a total of 9 European and Libyan universities and research centres. The project is implemented locally by Dr. Jacobo Cambil Martín, professor in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Granada. Among the activities developed in the SAHA project, great importance is given to the training of Libyan researchers in the subject of the project, through their mobility among the different European members of the consortium. A series of four mobility activities have been planned for training purposes (one in each of the European universities participating in the project). The first of these planned trainings took place between 16 and 20 May 2022 at the University of Granada, specifically at the facilities of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the PTS campus. During these training days, 35 participants from the Libyan universities that make up the consortium (Tripoli, Misurata, Sebha, Sirte, Zawia and the International Medical University of Libya) developed a program designed by members of different departments of the UGR and where theoretical sessions, practices and external visits have been combined.
